Two standout seniors from Green River, Wyoming, have earned spots in this year’s Wyoming Coaches Foundation North/South All‑Star Basketball Game, a showcase that brings together the state’s top graduating players for a weekend of practice, community service and competition.
The game is scheduled for July 18 at Casper College, where the selected athletes will represent their hometown one final time on the court.
Selection Highlights and Future Paths
Dax Taylor secured an automatic Class 4A berth on the South squad, while Dylan Archibald earned one of the competitive at‑large selections determined by coaches across Wyoming, underscoring the depth of talent in the region.
Their former coach, Laurie Ivie, praised both young men for more than just their skill, noting their leadership, work ethic and character as qualities that set them apart.
Archibald will head to a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints after graduation, while Taylor is bound for flight school with aspirations of becoming a pilot.
Both players expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to represent Green River and the state one more time, looking forward to the camaraderie and challenges that lie ahead.
