Dylan Terricciano, a 6‑foot‑3, 220‑pound standout from Champlain Valley Union High School, announced his commitment to Lehigh University on June 29, securing a full scholarship to join the Division I program in Pennsylvania.
Why Lehigh?
The decision was shaped by the welcoming campus atmosphere, the vibrant town of Bethlehem and the university’s recent on‑field successes. Terricciano said those elements combined to make Lehigh the clear choice over other suitors, including New Haven.
A Versatile Defender
At CVU, Terricciano earned a reputation as a feared outside linebacker, posting impressive statistics that caught the eye of recruiters. Coaches at Lehigh envision him contributing immediately as a defensive end, a role he has already begun to refine during his prep‑school season at St. Paul's School.
Teammates and Future
He will continue his senior year alongside former CVU quarterback Orion Yates, who is also drawing Division I interest. The two teammates share a trajectory that could see both making an impact in the Patriot League and beyond.
