Livingston County’s 2026 Baseball All‑Stars Shine with Historic Honors

Danny Hampton makes history as the first four‑time first‑team selection, while a host of standout players earn recognition

The 2026 all‑Livingston County baseball team was unveiled this week, spotlighting the county’s most dominant high school players from schools across the region.

At the center of the conversation is Howell senior Danny Hampton, who earned a place on the first team for the fourth straight year, joining an elite list that includes former Michigan star Drew Henson.

A Milestone for Danny Hampton

Hampton’s consecutive selections underscore not only his consistency but also his impact on the West squad, where he was named Most Valuable Player after a stellar performance in the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches’ Association All‑Star Game.

Joining him among the first‑team standouts are Michael Bernardi of Hartland, who led his team to a 2025 state championship with a 1.50 ERA and 50 strikeouts, and Nick Brevik of Brighton, who posted a 2.10 ERA and 41 strikeouts in his senior season.

Other notable first‑team members include Aden Bailey, who batted .404 and drove in 33 runs, and Dylan Crowe, who topped the area with 46 runs and 33 steals while earning Division 1 all‑state honors.

The second team and honorable‑mention lists also reflect depth across the county, featuring players such as Brogan Forney, Ben Holster, Alex Larson, Preston Spisz, Henry Taube and Brady Hamilton, each of whom posted impressive statistics in batting average, RBIs, steals or pitching.

Coaches and analysts say the breadth of talent bodes well for the upcoming season, with several prospects eyeing college scholarships and professional drafts.
