Robert Hinton, a rising junior guard for Harvard Men's Basketball, has earned a spot at the 2026 Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp in Las Vegas, an invite‑only showcase that gathers the nation's most promising backcourt talent.
A Season of Accolades
During the previous campaign Hinton helped the Crimson finish 17‑12 overall and 10‑4 in Ivy League play, a campaign in which Harvard led the nation in free‑throw percentage and ranked atop the conference in scoring defense. He was named a unanimous First Team All‑Ivy selection and earned a spot on the NABC All‑District first team, while also capturing the program's Raymond P. Lavietes '36 Most Valuable Player Award for the second straight year.
His statistical line of 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game, coupled with a 49.1 percent field‑goal rate and an 82.9 percent free‑throw percentage, underscored his impact. He scored in double figures on 24 occasions, posted nine 20‑point games and delivered two 30‑point outings, highlighting a season of consistent offensive production.
International Exposure
Beyond Cambridge, Hinton has represented Chinese Taipei on the senior men's national team, contributing to a quarterfinal appearance at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup and securing silver medals at the Jones Cup in both 2024 and 2025. In those appearances he averaged 12.8 points and 3.1 rebounds across 21 games, gaining valuable experience on the Asian stage.
The upcoming camp in Las Vegas will place Hinton alongside other elite guards who have previously used the platform to attract NBA attention.
