Siena Women's Soccer has unveiled its 2026 campaign, a slate that includes 18 matches spread across non‑conference and Metro Conference opponents. The schedule was released on June 30, promising a competitive lineup that builds on the program’s strong finish in 2025.
A New Chapter for the Saints
The season will open with a preseason scrimmage at UMass Lowell on August 8, followed by the first official game against Atlantic Coast Conference powerhouse Boston College on August 12. That contest marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools and sets an early tone for the Saints.
Home games will be anchored at Hickey Field, where Siena will host a series of consecutive matches, highlighted by a showdown with crosstown rival UAlbany on August 20 – a reunion after a five‑year hiatus.
Beyond the conference slate, the non‑conference portion features matchups against Bryant, Binghamton and Le Moyne, giving the team a varied early‑season test.
Siena will navigate a balanced 12‑match Metro Conference schedule, a format that has yielded a 13‑6‑5 conference winning percentage over the past three seasons. The Saints aim to leverage that experience as they integrate eight newcomers alongside six returning starters.
Head coach Steve Karbowski expressed optimism about the roster’s depth, noting that the blend of seasoned veterans and fresh talent positions the team for a strong push toward the postseason.
