ACC Academic Team Announces 2026 Honorees
Boston College’s baseball program celebrated a milestone as seven of its student‑athletes earned spots on the 2026 All‑ACC Academic Team, a testament to the university’s blend of athletic prowess and scholarly achievement.
Seniors A.J. Colarusso and Kyle Wolff secured their third consecutive selections, underscoring a sustained commitment to excellence both on the diamond and in the classroom.
Joining them, senior Jack Toomey and sophomore Colin Larson were honored for the second year in a row, reflecting consistent performance across multiple seasons.
The newcomers — sophomore Jacob Burnham, sophomore John D Mitchell and freshman Luke D'Ancona — received their first academic accolades, highlighting a promising depth of talent within the squad.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for the All‑ACC Academic Team demands a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the preceding semester and a cumulative 3.0 GPA throughout a student‑athlete’s academic career, in addition to participating in at least half of their team’s contests; pitchers must also appear in at least 20 percent of games.
Among the honorees, Burnham, Colarusso, Mitchell and Wolff are pursuing degrees in Management, while D'Ancona and Toomey are enrolled in Economics, illustrating the diverse academic interests of the team.
