Duke Unveils 2026 Men’s Soccer Schedule
The Blue Devils have unveiled a 17‑match slate for the upcoming season, a program that promises a blend of tradition and fresh challenges under head coach John Kerr.
Preseason work begins on August 4, with three exhibition fixtures that will give the squad a chance to fine‑tune before the first official contest.
Home Opener and Early Stretch
The regular season kicks off with four straight home games at Freeman Field, the familiar confines of Koskinen Stadium, where fans will see the team face Virginia Tech, Stanford, Virginia and North Carolina in quick succession.
Those early contests set the tone, especially the rivalry matchups that have become a staple of Duke’s autumn calendar.
Later in the month, the Blue Devils will travel to Texas to meet SMU on October 10, marking their first out‑of‑state regular‑season opponent.
Home dates against Greensboro College on October 13 and Howard on October 20 follow, before the team hosts Virginia on October 16 and North Carolina on October 23 in conference showdowns.
The schedule also features a series of matches against opponents that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including a slate of ten teams that earned tournament berths, underscoring the competitive nature of the season.
Coach Kerr emphasized that the non‑conference opponents were selected to test the team’s depth and prepare it for the rigors of ACC play, noting that the blend of regional rivals and national programs reflects a strategic approach to the campaign.
