A New Benchmark for Midwest Talent Evaluation
On July 1, 2026, Prep Baseball will transform Wade Stadium in Duluth into a proving ground for the next generation of Midwest baseball talent, bringing together more than 25 players from the graduating classes of 2027 through 2030.
The Summer ID‑Duluth showcase serves as an identifier for invite‑only events such as the Future Games and Senior Future Games, giving participants a direct pathway to national exposure.
Technology Elevates Player Development
Partnering with industry leaders TrackMan, Vizual Edge and Blast Motion, the event will integrate high‑speed radar, swing‑analysis and motion‑capture systems to capture objective performance data, delivering immediate feedback and a competitive edge.
Check‑in for position players and two‑way athletes begins at 10:00 a.m., with the official program kicking off at 10:30 a.m. and the first on‑field work starting at 10:45 a.m.; pitchers will report at 11:45 a.m. for a dedicated session.
Organizers emphasize that the showcase is more than a talent identifier; it is a stepping stone toward broader scouting networks, linking local prospects with the national Future Games pipeline and shaping the future of baseball in the region.
