The Lackawanna League has revealed its Division III Baseball Coaches All‑Stars, honoring the standout performers from a dozen high schools across the region.
Player of the Year
Adam Sorensen of Montrose was selected as the league’s Player of the Year, capping a season that saw him dominate both at the plate and on the mound.
Pitching Staff
Jordan Jagger from Mountain View and Adam Sorensen from Montrose earned spots on the all‑star pitching staff, joining a select group of arms recognized for their consistency and strikeout ability.
Infield Selections
Alden Felker of Elk Lake was chosen as the starting catcher, while Brayden Miller took first base for Elk Lake. Cohen Orlandini earned the nod at second base, and Brendan Marvin from Blue Ridge was selected at third base.
Infield and Outfield
Josh Miller from Mountain View was named the shortstop, completing a strong infield representation. In the outfield, William Evans and Sean Dwyer from Lackawanna Trail, along with Sawyer Aukema from Montrose, were recognized for their speed and defensive reliability.
Additional Honorees
Kasey Carey from Montrose received the designated hitter slot, and Isaac Ryon from Lackawanna Trail was selected as the utility player. The league also announced a list of honorable mentions that included Parker Smith, Xander Keill, Jeremy Slick, Wyatt Reynolds, Ashton Thiel, Tyler Jervis, Evan McComb, Owen Cook and Drew Hennessey, each of whom contributed significantly to their respective teams.
