Mississippi State’s men’s basketball program has officially confirmed its participation in the 2026 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, a showcase event that will take place in November on Paradise Island, The Bahamas.
Battle 4 Atlantis and the Road Ahead
The Bulldogs will be grouped with Memphis, Penn State and Wake Forest, each opponent promising a distinct style of play that should test the team’s versatility early in the season.
Beyond the island competition, Mississippi State has slated a home contest against Georgia Tech for December 2, 2026, followed by a road trip to Milwaukee to meet Marquette on December 12, continuing a home‑and‑home series that adds geographic variety to the schedule.
The season will open on November 2 against Tennessee Tech at Humphrey Coliseum, giving the Bulldogs an early home‑court test before they head into the more demanding stretch of games.
Guided by Coach Chris Jans
Coach Chris Jans, now in his fourth year at the helm, stands as the only coach in Mississippi State history to guide the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament in three of his first four seasons, a testament to his recruiting acumen and tactical adaptability.
With the schedule set and tickets on sale, the fan base is rallying around the program, eager to see whether the Bulldogs can translate early‑season challenges into a deep run in March.
