Colorado Buffaloes have secured a verbal commitment from three-star running back Kylan Bobo, a Mississippi native who chose the university over a crowded field of 27 programs that included Arkansas, Minnesota and Memphis.
Bobo, ranked No. 899 overall and No. 66 among running backs in the 247Sports Composite, brings a blend of size and speed that could reshape the Buffaloes’ backfield.
During his junior season he amassed 1,726 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, numbers that reflect a track-star’s burst — he clocked 11.12 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
A Strategic Fit for the Go-Go Offense
Coach Brennan Marion’s innovative Go-Go scheme frequently deploys two running backs simultaneously, a tactic that aligns perfectly with Bobo’s skill set.
Marion, now in his second year as offensive coordinator, emphasized that the addition of a speedy, dual-threat back will make the offense more dynamic and unpredictable.
Bobo becomes the 19th player to pledge to Colorado’s 2027 class and marks the eighth offensive commitment, underscoring the staff’s focus on building a balanced attack.
