Flyers Secure Four New Contracts Ahead of Season

Studnicka, Klimovich, Aston‑Reese and Dineen sign deals

The Philadelphia Flyers announced this week that they have reached agreements with four players, adding depth to their forward and defensive lines ahead of the upcoming season.

Contract Details

Jack Studnicka, 27, will sign a two‑year, two‑way contract that pays $875,000 in the NHL and a lower rate in the AHL. The forward spent the 2025‑26 campaign with the Florida Panthers and Charlotte Checkers, posting 16 points in 126 NHL appearances while contributing 192 points in 266 AHL games.

Danila Klimovich, 23, has inked a one‑year, two‑way deal. The Russian forward recorded 70 goals, 53 assists and 123 points in 281 AHL games for the Abbotsford Canucks, helping the club capture the Calder Cup in 2024‑25.

Zach Aston‑Reese, 31, agreed to a two‑year contract worth $875,000 per season. The veteran has appeared in 416 NHL games across several teams, accumulating 102 points and bringing a wealth of playoff experience.

Cam Dineen, 28, will also sign a two‑year, two‑way contract. After posting 21 points in 40 games for the Bakersfield Condors during the 2025‑26 season, he brings 191 AHL points in 383 games and 38 NHL appearances to the roster.

General manager Daniel Briere said the signings reflect the club’s commitment to blending youthful talent with seasoned depth as the Flyers aim to return to the playoffs.
