In his junior season Dobson appeared in eight games, recording four tackles, a pass breakup, two receiving touchdowns and a kickoff return for a score. As a sophomore he posted 48 tackles, 10 pass breakups, three interceptions and two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
His versatility gives the Gamecocks flexibility in scheming, allowing defensive coordinator Jeff Schmedding to experiment with hybrid packages that keep opponents guessing.
