A Milestone in Kansas Baseball
Ritch Price, the most successful coach in KU Baseball history, has been selected for the American Baseball Coaches Association’s 2027 Hall of Fame class, a testament to two decades of excellence on the diamond.
From 2003 through 2022 he guided the University of Kansas baseball team through a transformative era, compiling 581 wins and securing three NCAA Tournament appearances — both figures remain program records.
The formal induction will take place at the ABCA Banquet on January 7, 2027, where Price will be celebrated alongside other legends who have shaped the sport’s modern landscape.
University leaders and association officials alike highlighted Price’s lasting influence, noting that his strategic vision and player development have left an indelible mark on collegiate baseball across the region and beyond.
