Earlier in the week the Juniors split a pair with Brookings Red, dropping a 10‑9 decision in the nightcap after a 10‑9 win in the opener.
Huntley Hillman contributed three hits and struck out four batters in the first game, while Asher Kaus tallied three hits and two runs in the second.
Palace City committed five errors in the nightcap, a factor that proved costly against a resilient Red squad.
The club now stands at 18‑14 and is scheduled to travel to Aberdeen for a doubleheader before returning to Huron on Thursday, July 2.
