The opening weekend will see the first kickoff on August 7, a date that has already generated buzz among local fans eager to see how the new rosters mesh.
State Championships on the Horizon
Later in the fall, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association will launch its postseason on November 6, leading into the state championships that are set for December 10‑12. The championship games will be held across three days, bringing together the top teams from each classification to determine state champions.
Overall, the slate features seven games that pit a host of Fayetteville‑area public schools against one another, promising a competitive start to the season and a chance for teams to build momentum heading into conference play.
