Logan Jackson, a standout baseball player from Anderson‑Shiro, Texas, has officially signed a national letter of intent to continue his career at Dallas College’s Brookhaven Campus.
The ceremony took place Monday afternoon in the gymnasium of Anderson‑Shiro High School, where teammates, coaches and family gathered to witness the commitment.
Jackson will join the Brookhaven Bears, who compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division III Region 5. The Bears have built a competitive schedule over recent seasons, aiming for a deep run in the NJCAA tournament.
The Anderson‑Shiro Owls, his high school team, have reached the playoffs for three consecutive years and made a regional finals appearance in 2025, underscoring the program’s recent growth.
Owls’ Recent Playoff Run
During the past three seasons, the Owls have consistently qualified for the postseason, culminating in a regional finals appearance in 2025. That trajectory reflects a culture of development that has attracted attention from college scouts.
With the addition of Jackson, the Bears hope to bolster their pitching and fielding depth as they prepare for the upcoming season.
