Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic Returns in 2027

LSU, Arizona State, Iowa and Oregon State to compete at Las Vegas Ballpark as tournament supports ALS charity

A Return to Las Vegas

The fourth edition of the Live Like Lou Las Vegas College Baseball Classic is set to unfold at Las Vegas Ballpark from March 5 through March 7, 2027. The three‑day showcase will bring together LSU, Arizona State, Iowa and Oregon State in a round‑robin format that promises daily action for fans of collegiate baseball.

Each day of the tournament will host two games, creating a compact schedule that maximizes exposure for the participating schools. LSU will close the event with a single showdown against UNLV on March 8 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium on the UNLV campus, a venue that has previously welcomed the Tigers in the series.

A Familiar Powerhouse

LSU enters the 2027 edition with a streak of three consecutive victories in Peak Events‑organized classics, having captured the 2023 Round Rock Classic, the 2025 Frisco Classic and the 2026 Live Like Lou Jax Classic. The team’s most recent trip to Las Vegas dates back to 1991, when they won two of three games against UNLV, a history that adds a narrative layer to the upcoming matchup.

Ryan Holloway, Founder and CEO of Peak Events, expressed enthusiasm about the tournament’s growth and the partnerships that make it possible. “We’re thrilled to bring together these elite programs again and to continue supporting a cause that touches so many families,” he said.

More Than a Game

Beyond the competition, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Live Like Lou Foundation, an organization that assists families confronting amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The foundation provides volunteer services, financial grants and college scholarships, while also funding early‑career scientists dedicated to ALS research and raising national awareness of Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Fans interested in securing tickets can sign up for pre‑sale access at www.peak.events, the official portal for the tournament’s ticketing operations. The foundation’s activities can also be followed on X, Instagram and Facebook under the handle @LLL_LasVegasCBC.
