The junior team struggled to find rhythm, ultimately slipping to a 13‑1 defeat, while the senior squad answered with a 20‑10 victory that kept the series alive.
A high‑scoring affair
The seniors’ game exploded for three and a half innings, producing 30 combined runs that swung the momentum firmly in Chadron’s favor.
Sheridan County opened the scoring with a six‑run burst in the top of the first, but Chadron answered with four runs in the first two frames before erupting for 12 in the third to seize the lead.
Key contributors included Tobin Meyer and Creighton Ryan, each crossing the plate four times, while Derek Bissonette and Braden Wright added four hits apiece.
