A Fresh Start for the Wildcats
Weber State's women's basketball program is gearing up for the 2026‑27 campaign after a challenging 2025‑26 season that left the team with a 4‑14 mark in Big Sky play. Head coach Jenteal Jackson, who has been with the program for several years, says the experience has sharpened her vision for what the Wildcats can achieve, and she is already mapping out a strategy that leans on both continuity and fresh talent.
Returning Core and New Faces
The roster will retain several key contributors, including Sydney White, Paris Lauro, Hannah Robbins and Nicole Willardson, all of whom have shown growth during the offseason and are expected to play larger roles.
At the same time, nine new faces will join the squad, among them six Division I transfers and two true freshmen, bringing a blend of athleticism, versatility and hunger that Jackson believes can lift the team's competitive edge.
Among the newcomers, Siena Guttadauro, a 5‑foot‑6 combo guard, is noted for her high‑flying athleticism, while Draya Wacker, a transfer from Montana, brings a dynamic style and relentless motor. Adria Lincoln, a 6‑foot‑1 wing/forward, will spend the upcoming season rehabilitating an injury before contributing next year.
Other additions include Celestine Segretain, a 6‑foot‑1 forward with a versatile skill set; Favour Onoh, a 6‑foot‑5 center whose length could prove decisive; Grace Hintz, a 5‑foot‑8 shooting guard/wing with a knack for scoring; Sidney Anderson, a 5‑foot‑10 guard celebrated for her three‑point accuracy; Izabella Juarez, a true freshman wing with a strong work ethic; and Berkley Hart, a 6‑foot‑2 post player whose mobility and work ethic are generating buzz.
The blend of seasoned returners and a deep influx of new talent creates a situation where depth could become the Wildcats' greatest asset, potentially allowing Jackson to experiment with lineups and maintain intensity throughout a grueling schedule.
