Medina arrives from Knox College, where she established herself as one of Division III's most prolific scorers. In her junior year she averaged 23.6 points per game, a figure that ranked second nationally among D‑III women's players and earned her a spot on the NCAA DIII Region 9 First Team. She will have one season of eligibility remaining as a Hawkeye.
Her achievement also marks a historic first for Knox College, as she became the school's inaugural player to receive that regional honor.

Strömdahl, a versatile wing from Uppsala, Sweden, brings international experience and a fresh perspective. She previously competed for the RIG Luleå Swedish academy team, averaging 6.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, and has represented Sweden at under‑16 and under‑18 levels.
Her arrival makes her the first Swedish player in Iowa's program history, a milestone that underscores the global reach of the Hawkeyes' recruiting efforts.
