Three-Star Offensive Lineman Kyle Nabrotzky Commits to BYU

The Brentwood native picks the Cougars over Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, opting for an early graduation and mission before campus arrival

A Commitment With Long-Term Implications

Kyle Nabrotzky, a 3-star offensive lineman from Brentwood, Tennessee, revealed his commitment to Brigham Young University on Wednesday, choosing the Cougars over a slate of Power Five suitors that included Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.

Ranked at 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Nabrotzky brings a blend of size and athleticism that has drawn interest from programs such as the University of Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, Texas Christian University, the University of California, Berkeley, Duke, Oklahoma State, the University of Pittsburgh, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest.

The announcement follows an official visit to Provo the weekend of June 19, during which the recruit toured the campus and met with coaches, cementing his interest in the university’s offensive scheme.

Beyond football, Nabrotzky, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, plans to graduate high school early and serve a two-year mission before enrolling at BYU, a path that reflects both personal faith and academic ambition.

His pledge marks the first offensive-line commitment for BYU’s 2027 recruiting class and underscores the Cougars’ growing momentum on the national stage.
