Eight Wyoming Valley Conference Stars Make Pennsylvania All‑State Baseball Team

Wyoming Valley Conference Players Earn State Baseball Honors

The Pennsylvania State Baseball Coaches Association recently announced its All‑State teams, and eight athletes representing the Wyoming Valley Conference earned spots on the prestigious list. Selections were made after coaches submitted nominations and a committee voted on the final roster, with forty players chosen per classification and split between first and second teams.

Leo Nockley of Wyoming Seminary was honored as a first‑team infielder in Class 2A. He batted .408 during the season, scoring 37 runs while hitting three home runs and driving in 13 runs batted in.

Dominic Marranca from Holy Redeemer earned a second‑team infielder nod in the same classification. Marranca posted a .491 average, added six doubles and crossed the plate 28 times.

Dallas contributed two first‑team selections in Class 5A. Dominick Zangardi led the Mountaineers with a .480 average, collecting 36 hits, 35 runs and 23 RBIs, while Brady Youngblood batted .409 with four home runs, 27 RBIs and 17 runs scored.

Beau Widdick of Pittston Area also received first‑team honors as an infielder in Class 5A. He hit .440, smashed nine doubles, added six triples, one home run, amassed 26 RBIs and scored 34 runs.

Jacoby Harnen from Pittston Area was placed on the second‑team as a catcher in Class 5A. Harnen batted .434, hit three homers, added a triple, recorded eight doubles and drove in 31 runs.

D’Vonte Rivers of Valley West earned a first‑team spot in Class 6A. He finished with a .407 average, hit four home runs, posted 22 RBIs, scored 27 runs and logged 28 hits.

Logan Hearity from Hazleton Area received a second‑team infielder selection in Class 6A. Hearity batted .471, contributed 23 RBIs, hit seven doubles, added four triples, one home run and crossed the plate 38 times.
