TJ Bamba, the Oregon Ducks forward, is set to compete in the NBA Summer Leagues this year, joining the Denver Nuggets and traveling to Las Vegas for the showcase event.
Summer Circuit Gains Momentum
During his collegiate season with Oregon, Bamba posted averages of 10.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.6 assists per game, a performance that earned him a spot on the Big Ten Conference All‑Defensive Team and a nomination for the Lefty Driesell Award.
Bamba’s basketball journey includes stints at Washington State and Villanova before he transferred to Oregon, and he has also experienced professional play abroad in Germany and a brief stint with the Brooklyn Nets in the Las Vegas Summer League.
He will not be alone in the summer circuit, as fellow Oregon alumni Nate Bittle and Brandon Angel are also slated to appear in the Las Vegas league, adding depth to the Ducks’ presence.
Beyond Bamba, Oregon is actively pursuing top 2028 recruit Isaiah Hamilton, a high‑profile prospect who recently announced his transfer to Montverde Academy in Florida for his junior year.
Hamilton’s résumé includes a stint with the Canadian U‑17 National Team at the FIBA World Cup, where he averaged 14.2 points per game, and he is also being courted by programs such as Alabama and Arizona State.
With a blend of returning talent and fresh recruits, the Ducks’ summer schedule promises to be a pivotal chapter in their preparation for the upcoming season.
