Caleb Pavinski closed the game with a flawless two‑inning stretch, striking out four batters and helping the team complete a three‑hitter. Earlier, starter Marcus Collins had delivered a strong outing, fanning six opponents over 4 ⅔ innings without allowing an earned run.

The team built an 11‑0 lead after two innings in another contest, only to watch the margin shrink as opponents rallied. Despite committing seven errors, Pittston held on for an 11‑10 win, highlighted by a two‑run single from Max Baldoni in the second inning.
