Over the past half‑decade, Andrae progressed from Swedish second‑division play to the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he posted 32 points in 61 games during the 2023‑24 season. The following year he added 16 points in 25 AHL contests while appearing in 42 NHL games for Philadelphia, and in the most recent campaign he logged 61 NHL appearances, contributing 13 points.
