The Sheridan Troopers closed out the Montana‑State Billings Goldsmith Gallery Baseball Tournament with a 4‑1 record, cementing their status as one of the region’s most competitive squads.
On June 25th, right‑hander William Greer delivered a no‑hitter that left the opposition silent. He struck out nine batters while walking just one, showcasing both dominance and control.
Greer’s bat was equally potent, as he went 3‑for‑10 at the plate and drove in three runs, underscoring his all‑around impact.
Veteran Dominic Destafano contributed a .667 average, finishing 8‑for‑12 with four RBIs, while newcomer Tanner Hamrick added a .467 average, going 7‑for‑15 with four RBIs and three walks.
The trio’s performances helped the Troopers overcome a mid‑tournament slump, turning a 2‑2 start into a three‑game winning streak that secured the fourth seed in the bracket.
