Rowan County contributed heavily to the Stripes' lineup, with coach Seth Graham overseeing a pitching staff anchored by Jacob Prevette and Dylan Alexander. The county's position players included outfielder Cole Blevins, infielder Carter Durant, and catchers Brody Pope and Gaige Scruggs, each adding a distinct spark to the offense.
Blevins demonstrated power at the plate, launching a triple and driving in two runs, while Pope contributed a run-scoring single and stole a base. Scruggs also added a stolen base, underscoring the team's aggressive base-running approach.
The Southern Stars, representing a coalition of towns including Kannapolis, Mocksville, Mooresville, Union County and Wadesboro, fielded a talented roster.
