Seahawks Set for Conference Baseball Championship
The Coastal Athletic Association has revealed the bracket for the upcoming conference baseball championship, scheduled to take place at Brooks Field.
UNCW enters the tournament as the sixth seed and will open its first game on Wednesday, marking the program’s 40th consecutive appearance in the conference championship.
The field features Campbell as the South Division champion and top seed, while Northeastern claims the North title. Monmouth finished second in the North and holds the third seed, and the College of Charleston placed second in the South to earn the fourth seed. Hofstra rounds out the bracket as the fifth seed, having secured a spot through its RPI ranking.
Opening matchups see Charleston and Hofstra facing off at noon on Wednesday, followed by a 4 p.m. contest between the Seahawks and Monmouth. Each game of the championship will be streamed live on FloCollege.com.
The tournament promises competitive play across the board, highlighting the depth of talent in the league and providing fans with a full slate of baseball action.
