Providence College women's basketball head coach Erin Batth revealed this week that Kylah Silver has inked an athletic aid agreement, clearing the path for the guard to join the Friars in the 2026‑27 season.
Silver arrives after three seasons at UNCW, where she emerged as a reliable scorer and playmaker, averaging 11.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while starting every contest in her final year.
Her impact at the North Carolina school was evident in the numbers: she logged 35 double‑digit scoring games, contributed five double‑digit rebounding performances and was the only player to start all 31 games last season.
The 5‑10 guard also demonstrated durability, averaging a team‑high 33.7 minutes per game and shooting 39.3 percent from the field, while her free‑throw accuracy topped 63 percent.
A Versatile Guard with Proven Resilience
Having missed the 2024‑25 campaign due to injury, she now enters Providence with two years of eligibility remaining, bringing a blend of scoring, rebounding and defensive versatility.
Coach Batth expressed confidence that Silver’s work ethic and skill set will complement the existing roster, noting that the incoming class is poised to strengthen the program’s depth.
The addition of Silver also underscores the Friars’ strategy of recruiting talent that can contribute immediately while developing long‑term potential.
