The Greene County baseball team celebrated a milestone this week, securing its first postseason victory since the 2022 season by edging out South Central Calhoun in the Class 2A District 4 opening round.
The win marks a turning point for a program that spent the last three years competing in Class 3A, a transition that has brought fresh energy and a renewed sense of purpose to the roster.

Roland-Story, boasting a stellar 34‑3 record, now stands between the Rams and the next round of competition. The Norsemen have dominated conference play, posting two shutout victories over Greene County earlier this season.
