As the 2026 high school football season approaches, the Calvert Cavaliers are gearing up with a clear mission: to embody the program’s rallying cry of being ‘Uncommonly Great.’ Head coach Rick Sneade, now in his fifteenth year at the helm, frames the upcoming campaign around relentless daily improvement and active community engagement.
Sneade’s philosophy centers on personal growth rather than comparisons to past teams. He believes that each player can maximize their potential, and that the collective effort will translate into stronger performances on the field and in the classroom.

Outside of games, the team continues a tradition of giving back, organizing an annual mulch sale each offseason to raise funds for local causes and to engage residents.
