On Monday afternoon, University of Connecticut women's hockey head coach Chris MacKenzie took to the podium to unveil the program's 2030 recruiting class, a cohort that promises to reshape the team's forward and defensive lines.

The class comprises four forwards, two defensemen and a single goaltender, each selected for their proven performance at the high‑school and international level.

Laurie Aubin, hailing from Boisbriand, Quebec, arrives after a standout season at Stanstead College, where she recorded 34 goals and 49 assists in 46 games and contributed to Team Quebec's gold at the 2025 U18 Women's National Championship.

Aubin also earned a spot on the Canadian roster for the 2026 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship, underscoring her status as one of the country's top prospects.

Caprice Chaulk, a Scarborough native who played for the Durham West Junior Lightning, brings 40 goals and 30 assists over 118 games, a testament to her offensive consistency.

Grace Riley, a Winter Garden, Florida product and former captain of Phillips Exeter Academy, earned All‑NEPSAC honors and will join the Huskies after a distinguished prep career.

Addison Stewart from Wilmette, Illinois, capped her high‑school tenure at New Trier Township High School with a state championship in 2025 and four All‑State selections.

The Tiller sisters, Caileigh and Chelsea, both from St. Catharines, Ontario, bring complementary skill sets; Caileigh logged 55 goals and 47 assists in 71 games for the Burlington Barracudas, while Chelsea added 16 goals and 59 assists over 84 appearances.

Amelia Wilkinson, also a St. Catharines native, rounds out the class with a silver‑medal performance at the U22 Elite OWHA Provincial Championship and a key role on the Durham West Lightning.

Coach MacKenzie emphasized that the new recruits embody the program's commitment to developing talent from across North America, and he expressed confidence that their diverse backgrounds will strengthen the team's depth and competitiveness.
