Tournament Highlights
Sunday’s final games capped a busy week in which the South and North conferences each saw several teams jockey for position, with the Casper Oilers and Cheyenne Hawks climbing the South League ladder while the Sheridan Jets and Jackson Giants surged in the North.
In the South, the Cheyenne Sixers cemented their dominance with a 44‑11‑1 overall record and a perfect 12‑0 conference slate, while the Laramie Rangers secured second place in the Mark Robert Classic tournament.
The Sheridan Troopers, meanwhile, posted a 3‑2 record in that same Classic and sit atop the North Conference with a 38‑13 overall mark and a flawless 10‑0 conference run.
Action in the Hargens/Leisy Tournament saw the Sheridan Jets go undefeated at 5‑0, capturing the title, while Douglas posted the best record in the Bolln Memorial Tournament they hosted. Lander also celebrated its first two league victories of the season, underscoring a turnaround for the squad.
