The University of Toledo announced its complete non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 women's basketball season, a 14‑game lineup that blends home‑court showcase matches with road tests and a pair of games in the Bahamas.
Key matchups on the horizon
Two of the most anticipated contests will be played on campus: a home game against Michigan State on November 7 and a showdown with Cincinnati on December 6, both against Power‑4 programs that reached the second round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
The season will open with the MAC‑SBC Challenge, hosting Louisiana Tech on November 2, and the Rockets will also stage an exhibition against Lawrence Tech (Michigan) on October 27 before the regular schedule begins.
A neutral‑site tournament at the Baha Mar Classic in the Bahamas will see Toledo face two opponents on November 23 and 25, adding an international flavor to the early schedule.
Beyond those marquee events, the roster includes matchups against Youngstown State, Valparaiso, Roosevelt University, Oakland, Saginaw Valley State, Detroit Mercy, Milwaukee, Northern Iowa and other regional foes, with the full Mid‑American Conference slate and game times to be released later.
Coach's perspective
Head coach Ginny Boggess said the schedule offers the team a chance to test itself against top competition, build chemistry and give fans early‑season excitement.
