The 2026 Prep Baseball Wisconsin Second Team, All‑State roster has been unveiled, showcasing 19 of the state’s most promising underclassmen. Selected by a panel of coaches and analysts, the list spans catchers, infielders, outfielders, pitchers and utility players, each of whom has distinguished themselves through a blend of power, precision and poise.
Standout Performers
Among the honorees, Haaken Hovestol of Delavan‑Darien stands out as one of the premier uncommitted catchers, while Logan Hagman from Hudson is already being touted as one of the top 2027 prospects in Wisconsin. Chance Ruby of Wilmot Union earned first‑team all‑state honors as a junior, and Ian Kawczynski from Catholic Memorial is widely regarded as the state’s finest defensive shortstop.

The roster also features power hitters such as Braun Wotruba of Pulaski and Caleb Johns from New Berlin Eisenhower, who signed with Rock Valley JC after posting a .451 average and a .901 slugging percentage. Pitchers like Eli Hart of Bay Port and Ashtyn Seifert of Beaver Dam have proven equally formidable on the mound, with Hart slated to represent Team Wisconsin at the 2026 Prep Baseball Future Games. Several players carry notable college commitments, including Joseph Meeter, a South Dakota State recruit with a reputation for raw power, and Camden Glusick of Sun Prairie East, a center‑field defender praised for his bat‑to‑ball skills. Kingston Grisolono, an Evansville commit, brings a left‑handed bat and solid defensive instincts, while Bron Schaefer helped lead Kaukauna to a Division 1 state championship.
