Enow Etta's path to the Michigan Wolverines began with a commitment in July 2022, a decision that brought the Texas native to Ann Arbor after a standout prep career at Covenant Christian Academy.
After redshirting his first year, Etta broke onto the scene as a true freshman, logging his first tackle against UNLV and gradually earning more snaps.
The 2024 campaign saw him appear in ten games, earning his first start in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Alabama, and finishing with four tackles and half a sack.
Building on that momentum, Etta played every game in 2025, racking up 15 tackles and another half sack, positioning himself among the interior defensive linemen alongside Trey Pierce and Jonah Lea’ea.
A Rising Force in Ann Arbor
Coaches and analysts alike see the Michigan defensive line as one of the most promising units heading into the 2026 season, with Etta poised to claim a starting role and help anchor a unit that could dominate the line of scrimmage.
