Arizona’s redshirt senior quarterback Noah Fifita has earned a spot on the Big 12 preseason All-Conference Team, marking the first time a Wildcats signal-caller has been recognized in that capacity before a season begins.
A milestone for the program
The honor underscores a rapid rise for the signal-caller, who in 2025 set new single-season and career touchdown passing records for the University of Arizona.
Fifita’s 2025 campaign yielded 3,228 passing yards and 29 touchdowns, guiding the Wildcats to a 9-4 finish and a berth in the Holiday Bowl. His 9,183 career yards place him third among active FBS quarterbacks, and he sits just 829 yards behind Nick Foles’ all-time school record of 10,111 yards.

The Big 12 media days will take place in Frisco, Texas, where Fifita will join six other Arizona players for the conference’s preseason festivities, adding a regional spotlight to the team’s preparations.
