Hockey East revealed its 2025‑26 Men’s All‑Academic Team, a roster that celebrates the conference’s commitment to scholarly achievement on the ice.
A Culture of Excellence
To earn a spot, each player had to maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 throughout the season while balancing the rigors of Division I competition.
Boston College led the pack with ten Eagles receiving the honor, underscoring the program’s blend of athletic performance and academic discipline.
Among the first‑time recipients were Dean Letourneau, Drew Fortescue, Aram Minnetian, Will Moore and Jake Sondreal, each of whom met the rigorous standard in their inaugural year of eligibility.
Ryan Conmy, Oskar Jellvik and Teddy Stiga returned for a second consecutive season on the list, reflecting sustained excellence both in the classroom and on the rink.
Jan Korec, a three‑time honoree, added another accolade by earning placement on the All‑Academic All‑Star Team, a distinction that highlights his consistent academic record.
Will Traeger stood out as a distinguished scholar, posting a 3.0 GPA or higher in every semester of his four‑year career at Boston College.
Korec’s selection joins a distinguished group that includes Jared Whale, Ethan Beyer, Kevin Fitzgerald, Jeremy Langlois, Ethan Burroughs, Thomas Freel and Dominick Rivelli, all recognized for their academic contributions.
Across the conference, 218 student‑athletes were named to the All‑Academic Team, illustrating a widespread culture of achievement that extends beyond the scoresheet.
