Four-star safety Ta'Shawn Poole, a top uncommitted prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle, has drawn the attention of several powerhouse programs.
Poole's recruitment timeline has been marked by a series of high-profile visits. In April he spent time at Florida State, a trip that coaches described as productive, and he followed it with a spring scrimmage at Tennessee before heading back to Tallahassee on June 19 for an official visit.
The Competition Intensifies
Alabama offered Poole in January and brought him to campus for a spring practice in March, signaling a strong push from the Crimson Tide. Georgia, LSU and Clemson remain in the mix, but Poole has indicated that the SEC foes are not the only ones vying for his signature.
Ranked No. 59 nationally and the fifth-best safety by the 247Sports composite, Poole is also the fifth-rated prospect in the state of Georgia, underscoring the depth of his talent.
Florida State is looking to reinforce a secondary that already includes commitments from Mekhi Williams, Jemari Foreman and Dayon Cooper, aiming to build a deep unit for the next class.
