The 2026 All‑Berkshire Baseball Team has been announced, gathering the county’s most promising high school players into a single showcase of talent. Selected from schools across the region, the roster reflects a blend of offensive firepower and pitching depth that has turned heads across New England.
A Rising Talent Pool
Julian Feliciano, a junior catcher from Drury, has been virtually untouchable behind the plate, handling every inning of every game while posting a .446 batting average and stealing 26 bases. His all‑around contributions have set a high bar for defensive reliability and speed.
Morrie Fried, a Brown University commit from Pittsfield, brings a .397 average to the lineup, complemented by six home runs and 27 runs batted in. His combination of contact hitting and power has made him one of the most feared batters in the county.
On the mound, Sam McLaughlin of Wahconah has emerged as the county’s workhorse, logging 44 1/3 innings with a 6‑1 record and a 1.58 ERA. His durability and control have anchored the rotation for his team.
Other standout arms include Jay Codey of Pittsfield, who posted a 1.71 ERA and 67 strikeouts, and Simon Mele, also from Pittsfield, who went 5‑0 with a 1.12 ERA and 57 strikeouts. Both pitchers have demonstrated the ability to shut down opposing offenses when it matters most.
The offensive depth extends beyond the highlighted names. Brady Carpenter of Mount Everett batted .479 while scoring and driving in 27 runs, while Robbie Bazinet of Lenox hit a perfect .500 and added 18 extra‑base hits. Gus Luf from Monument Mountain contributed a .485 average and 16 runs scored.
Several players have already secured commitments to Division I programs, including James Rabuse and Matt Egan, whose performances earned them spots at top universities. Their decisions underscore the pathway from local diamonds to national collegiate competition.
