Michael Busby has been named interim head coach of the SUNY Potsdam women's basketball program for the upcoming 2026‑27 season, taking the reins ahead of the team's season‑opening matchup at St. Lawrence University on November 10.

Busby holds a master’s degree in management with a specialization in organizational leadership from SUNY Potsdam, a bachelor’s degree in professional studies from Cazenovia College and an associate’s degree in business administration from Jefferson Community College.
