Aidan Flinn, a freshman pitcher for the University of Illinois Fighting Illini, has accepted an invitation to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp, a prestigious opportunity that places him among the nation’s top collegiate talent.

The camp will run from June 24 through July 5, giving Flinn a chance to train with some of the country’s most promising players before the team heads to Taichung City, Taiwan, where it will compete in the World Collegiate Baseball Championship from July 11 to 15. The tournament will bring together collegiate squads from Chinese Taipei, Japan and Korea in a showcase of emerging talent.
Flinn’s debut season with the Illini has been marked by a 2.67 earned run average and 51 strikeouts across 54 innings, while maintaining a 0.87 WHIP. His consistency has helped the Fighting Illini secure a strong position heading into the Big Ten Tournament.
