Before arriving in Charlottesville, Lester was a four‑star recruit who earned McDonald's All‑American nomination and excelled at Orange Park High School in Florida, where she averaged 20.7 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game as a junior.
Her senior year saw a move to Montverde Academy, followed by a stint with the Miami Suns on the Nike EYBL circuit, and participation in Coach Wooten’s Basketball Camp, where she was named a top performer and a national stock riser by ESPN.
College Experience and Injury Setback
Lester’s two‑year tenure at Alabama included a freshman season with 30 appearances and a career‑high 16 points, while her junior year was cut short by injury, ending a promising campaign that had started with strong statistical output.
Despite the setback, the coaching staff remains confident that her work ethic and skill set will translate into immediate contributions on the court.
