A Historic Selection
Two University of Texas Longhorns baseball standouts, Anthony Pack Jr. and Luke Harrison, have been selected to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, earning a spot on the roster that will travel to Taiwan for the World Collegiate Baseball Championship from July 11 through July 15.
Pack Jr. arrives after a freshman season in which he batted .355 and drove in 56 runs, numbers that helped him lead Team USA in triples, total bases and RBI during exhibition play.
On the mound, Harrison posted 10 strikeouts and held opponents to a .133 batting average, showcasing the kind of dominance that earned him a place on the national squad.
A Historic Milestone
This marks the ninth occasion in program history that two Longhorns have been chosen in the same year, joining a lineage that includes alumni such as Huston Street, Corey Knebel, Hoby Milner and Drew Stubbs, all of whom have previously represented the United States at the collegiate level.
The upcoming championship will test the team against international competition, and the Longhorns hope to translate their collegiate success into a global triumph.
