Beeville Independent School District announced this week that Lee Yeager will assume the dual roles of head baseball coach and assistant athletic director, ushering in a new chapter for the district’s program.
A Legacy of Success
With more than seven hundred career victories, Yeager brings a proven track record of excellence, having guided Veterans Memorial to the UIL Class 5A state semifinals in 2018 and captured a state championship with Carroll in 2010.
He replaces Richard Vasquez, who retired at the conclusion of the recent school year, ending a tenure that left a lasting imprint on the district’s athletic landscape.
Yeager’s coaching journey spans several Texas high schools, including stints at San Augustine, Cleveland, Whitehouse, and Grapevine, where he consistently elevated competition and fostered player development.
