Utility crews from Eversource arrived faster than initially projected, restoring power well ahead of the utility’s original restoration window. The rapid response helped prevent a prolonged blackout that would have delayed preparations for the upcoming race weekend.
Park management, together with local volunteers and a coalition of private firms, has organized a massive cleanup operation. Companies such as Housatonic Racing Development, Goff Equipment, Green Acres Landscaping and Segalla Construction have contributed equipment, labor and expertise to clear debris and repair damaged infrastructure.
