Jaden Condotta Returns to the Ice
The Jacksonville Icemen have announced the signing of forward Jaden Condotta for the 2026‑27 campaign, cementing his place as a key piece of the ECHL affiliate’s roster.
Condotta, 25, is returning for his second year with the Icemen after a rookie season that produced 13 points and 68 penalty minutes, numbers that hint at a player comfortable in a physical, fast‑paced environment.
His professional debut came in the spring of 2025 with the Indy Fuel, where he quickly adapted to the pro game before returning to the ECHL for the next chapter.
Condotta’s collegiate career spanned stints at Toronto Metropolitan University and Aurora University, where he collected 23 points in 28 games and earned a spot on the NCAA Division‑III (NCHA) All‑Conference and All‑Freshman teams during the 2022‑23 season.
A Junior‑Hockey Backdrop
Before college, the forward spent three seasons with the Georgetown Raiders and one with the North York Rangers in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, compiling 104 points and 213 penalty minutes over 218 OJHL appearances.
Coach of the Icemen highlighted that Condotta’s blend of skill and grit should provide depth on the third line and flexibility in special‑teams situations, making him a valuable asset as the team pushes for consistency.
The organization views the signing as a step toward blending youthful energy with veteran savvy, aiming to deepen its roster as it looks to improve its standing in the league.
