A Season of Achievement
The University of New Hampshire announced that eighteen members of its women's ice hockey program have earned spots on the 2025‑26 Hockey East Women's All‑Academic Team, a distinction that requires a minimum 3.0 grade point average across all academic periods in which the athletes competed in the conference.
Among them, junior goaltender Noemi Martinez distinguished herself by achieving a flawless 4.0 GPA, earning the conference's Top Scholar‑Athlete honor for her position and joining sixteen other student‑athletes on the All‑Academic All‑Star Team.
The recognition also highlighted a group of returning standouts, including seniors Hannah Rodgers and Alyson Hush as well as juniors Julia Cabral, Sydney Leonard and Lucie Legro, each of whom secured All‑Academic honors for the third time in their collegiate careers, while senior forward Kelly Harty and sophomore Charlie Rauch were noted for their second selections.
Looking ahead, the Wildcats are set to resume play on September 25 at St. Thomas before opening their home slate against Boston University on October 9, marking the start of the 2026‑27 season.
