During his tenure, Howe posted a 29‑21‑7 record with two shutouts, a 2.58 goals‑against average and a .923 save percentage, compiling 1,761 saves across 60 appearances. His 869 career saves rank second in program history, and he earned multiple All‑America recognitions, including CCM/AHCA first team, All‑USCHO and DIIIHockeyNews.com second team honors.
Championship Momentum and Coach Recognition
The Johnnies captured both MIAC regular‑season and tournament titles for the fifth time in program history, securing their 10th MIAC regular‑season championship and extending their streak of conference dominance. Head coach Doug Schueller added a third MIAC Men's Hockey Coach of the Year award to his résumé, reflecting the team's collective excellence.
